An early lead helped Clinton C-Team Red Devils defeat Spartanburg 6-3 on Thursday. Clinton C-Team Red Devils scored on a walk by Austin Copeland and a single by Alex Laws in the first inning.

Clinton tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Red Devils batters contributing to the big inning included Wilson Wages and Davidson Pitts, all driving in runs in the inning.

Brycen Satterfield pitched Clinton to victory. He surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out one. Luke White and Wil Stewart entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. White recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for Clinton C-Team Red Devils .

Clinton totaled nine hits in the game. Zach Fortman and Wages all managed multiple hits for Clinton C-Team Red Devils . Fortman led the Red Devils with three hits in four at bats.

The C-Team Red Devils will travel to Duncan Park on Monday, March 12 for a 6 pm game against Spartanburg.
