Jykorie, who often is referred to as the “Heartbeat of the Red Devils” is a jack-of-all-trades. Gary rarely comes off the field and is always there it seems to make a play for the Red Devils whether on offense or defense. Even when receiving on special teams, Jykorie is a threat to take it for a touchdown every time he touches the ball.
In the Red Devils’ game Friday night it was on defense where Gary shined the most, making 12 tackles for the Red Devils including two tackles for a loss. Offensively, Gary had 123 all-purpose yards, including an electrifying 63 yard reception late in the ball game. Jykorie who is an excellent student at Clinton High School serves as a leader for the Clinton Red Devils on and off the field.
