Game Time Change

CHS Athletic Director, Dr. Nickie Templeton, has announced that the varsity football game versus Laurens on Friday, August 24, will begin at 8:00.  This change was made in order to ensure compliance with a new regulation from the SC High School League regarding the wet bulb thermometers.  You can read this regulation here: Wet Bulb Globe Temperature Monitoring

New Policy at Wilder Stadium

On August 13, 2018, Laurens School District 56 released its NEW Clear Bag Policy for ALL events at Wilder Stadium.  This policy goes into effect on Friday, August, 24, 2018, which is the first football game of the season.  The Red Devils host county rival, Laurens.  The policy can be viewed here.    

Jamboree Information

The Red Devil football team travels to Woodruff tomorrow, August 9, for the Wolverines’ Jamboree.  As a courtesy, the Woodruff athletic department will honor last year’s (2017-18) SC High School League Passes, as well as current passes.  ALL persons wishing to use a SCHSL pass should enter through the gate to the left of the

Simmons Honored as Coach of the Year

Our own Clovis Simmons was named the 2018 South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association (SCACA) Boys Tennis Coach of the Year for ALL classifications on Sunday, July 21, at the 26th Annual SCACA Banquet in Charleston.  Coach Simmons previously earned this award in 2000; she was named the SCACA Girls Tennis Coach of the Year in
