Simmons Inducted Into SC Coaches’ Hall of Fame

Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity tennis coach, Clovis Simmons, was inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame at the 28th Annual SCACA banquet on Saturday, November 14 at the Greenville Convention Center.  Other inductees were: Jerry Brown, Max Clyburn, Johnny Goodwin, and Brad Porter.  Coach Simmons has been the CHS tennis coach at CHS

James Named Player of the Week

Head girls’ basketball coach, John Gardner, has announced that tomorrow’s scrimmage, November 12, 2020, will be closed to the public.  Only coaches and players will be allowed in the gym due to COVID-19 concerns.

Dailey Receives Multiple Honors

Mary Catherine Dailey represented Region 3 AAA in the SCHSL Singles Tennis tournament this past weekend.  She earned All-State honors and was named the 2020 Sportsmanship Award Winner for the AAA/AA/A field of participants, which Head Coach Clovis Simmons notes is, “A very HIGH accomplishment and honor.”  Congratulations, MC!  We are RED DEVIL PROUD of you! Boys’ Basketball Try-Outs

Coach Eddie Romines has released the following information regarding try-outs for the 2020-21 season: CHS varsity and JV Boys’ basketball tryouts will be Monday, November 9, and Tuesday, November 10, from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm. Anyone interested in trying out should have a completed physical on file no later than Friday, November 6. If you
